Become a Member of Ombudsman Services: Property
Ombudsman Services property has been approved under the Consumers, Estate Agents and Redress Act 2007 as an approved redress scheme for estate agents.and under the Housing Act as a redress scheme for the purpose of Home Information Pack (HIPs) related complaints against surveyors and estate agents.
Membership of Ombudsman Services: Property is open to both the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) regulated and non RICS regulated firms and estate agents.
Since November 2009, the Association of Residential Managing Agents (ARMA) made it a requirement for its members to join an approved ombudsman scheme and recommended Ombudsman Services: Property.

Non RICS Regulated firms, estate agents and members of ARMA
