What types of property professionals are members of  Ombudsman Services: Property?

Our members include chartered surveying firms, surveyors, estate agents and residential managing agents. 

We can only look at your problem if one of our members is involved, so it is very important that you check this first.

If the property professional you want to complain about is not listed on our website but you believe that they are a member of our service please contact our enquiry team for help.

The property professional that you are complaining about will provide you with a copy of its complaints handling procedure (CHP). The CHP will outline if the firm is a member of Ombudsman Services: Property. 

If the property professional refuses to provide you with a copy of its CHP then you should contact the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (if it is a chartered surveying firm or surveyor) or the Association of Residential Managing Agents (if it is a residential managing agent).
